A man was arrested Saturday after TSA allegedly discovered a loaded gun among his carry-on items.

Authorities say a 9-millimiter gun packed with 30 bullets was found in the Newark man’s bag at Terminal A.

Port Authority police arrested him on a state weapons charge. He also faces a federal penalty of up to $15,000.
