A juvenile was hospitalized following a crash involving a car and e-bike Friday in Brookfield, police say.

It happened just after 4 p.m. on Forty Acre Mountain Road.

Police say the e-bike, operated by the juvenile, was driving southbound on Old Turnpike Road and drove onto Forty Acre Mountain Road. An Audi sedan driving westbound on Forty Acre Mountain road collided with the e-bike.

The juvenile was taken to Danbury Hospital, according to authorities. The driver of the Sedan was not injured and remained on scene.

The area where the crash happened was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
