Police in Ocean Township are warning of a rash of car burglaries.
They say in the overnight hours of Sunday into Monday, at least 15 cars were entered illegally in the Wanamassa section of town.
The burglars took cash, loose change and small personal belongings from unlocked cars parked on side streets off Sunset Avenue and Wickapecko Drive.
Residents are being asked to remember to lock their cars, park in well lit areas, and remove money and valuables, especially electronic devices left in plain sight.
