Law enforcement officials have identified the suspect wanted in a Monday morning altercation that left a 24-year-old man dead.
According to the Somerset County prosecutor, James Kargbo and Isaiah Bell were involved in a physical altercation near Coventry Lane and Westminster Road in the Somerset section of Franklin Township. Police say that Kargbo sustained injuries during the altercation that would later kill him.
Officials say that Kargbo was able to get into his car and attempted to drive onto Route 27, but he lost control of the car and crashed into a nearby medical building. His 6-year-old son was in the car with him at the time, but was not hurt.
According to the prosecutor, an autopsy determined that Kargbo died from a sharp force injury to the chest.
Authorities also say that Bell fled the area in a four-door sedan and is still at large.
Anyone who might have more information about the incident or knows Bell's whereabouts is asked to contact the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit at 908-231-7100 or the Franklin Township Police Department at 732-873-2300.
