A fugitive from New Jersey was arrested Thursday in Norwalk Conn.
It happened at the Red Carpet Inn on Westport Avenue.
Police say a fugitive task force in New Jersey asked them to find Juan Marales, 41, of Edison, who was wanted on five active warrants.
They include warrants for child abuse, failing to register as a sex offender and assaulting a correctional officer.
Marales' bond has been set at $1 million.
