Police: Couple stole 12 handbags worth around $26K from Jimmy Choo store

Police are looking for a couple they say stole 12 handbags worth an estimated $26,000 from a Jimmy Choo store in Manhattan.

Police are looking for a couple they say stole 12 handbags worth an estimated $26,000 from a Jimmy Choo store in Manhattan.
The theft happened Wednesday just after 11:30 a.m. at the location on Madison Avenue and 62nd Street on the Upper East Side.


According to the NYPD, the pair entered the store wearing dark hoodies, and got away with the handbags.
Police say the couple then got away in a blue Jeep with Pennsylvania plates.
No injuries were reported.

It is unknown how many people were in the store at the time of the robbery.
