Police: Chinese food delivery driver robbed in Maplewood

The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. The delivery driver was not injured.

A Chinese food delivery driver was robbed Thursday night in Maplewood, police say.
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. Authorities say the suspect called a local Chinese restaurant for a food delivery order to Indiana Street. Police say that when the driver arrived at the address, a man grabbed the food and demanded money.
The suspect was described as a Black man, about 6 feet tall. He was seen wearing a black skull cap, black mask and black windbreaker jacket. He was said to have run off into nearby Union Township.
The driver was not injured.
