A 13-year-old boy is said to be OK after getting hit by a car while trying to cross a street in Lyndhurst.
The incident happened Wednesday around 8:15 a.m., just across the street from Roosevelt School on Stuyvesant Avenue.
According to police, the crossing guard had not given the boy the OK to cross the street.
The boy was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
The driver is not facing any charges, as authorities said she had the green light.
