Police say one person was struck in a hit-and-run crash outside of a gentleman's club in Linden early Sunday morning.
They say there was a large fight outside of Cheeque's Gentleman's Club around 3 a.m., right after the club closed.
Police say two victims were assaulted by multiple people. Investigators believe that one of the victims, a 31-year-old man from Jersey City, was then struck by a vehicle.
Both victims were transported to Newark University Hospital and are listed in critical condition. Police say the vehicle fled the scene.
East Linden Avenue was closed for hours as police investigated. The road has since reopened.
Officials say they're still searching for the car and have not released information on what type of car they're looking for.
Anyone with information is urged to call Linden police.
