Police arrest New Jersey man with loaded AK-47, handgun and drugs following traffic stop

Police say a man from Trenton has been arrested on gun possession charges after police found a loaded AK-47 following a traffic stop.
Police pulled over Raheem Wilson, 24, during a vehicle slowdown operation in the area of Donnelly Homes. Wilson was allegedly seen driving a 2017 Nissan Altima at a high rate of speed.
When they approached his vehicle, they saw a handgun with an extended magazine on the floor of his vehicle. After taking Wilson into custody, officers also found the loaded AK-47-style rifle with fully loaded high-capacity and drum magazines.
Distribution amounts of crack cocaine and MDMA pills were also recovered.
Wilson was charged with one count each of unlawful possession of a handgun, unlawful possession of a high-capacity magazine, among other charges. He also faces drug charges.
