Three Long Branch officers were hurt Monday during a police chase.

Police say that the officers were involved in a pursuit in the area of North Lake Drive when two police cruisers collided.

The officers were taken to area hospitals to be treated for injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.

Police did not release details about how the pursuit started, but say that despite rumors on social media, no gunfire occurred.
