The Trenton Ironhawks, New Jersey’s newest professional sports team, have unveiled their inaugural home and away uniforms ahead of their home opener.

Ironhawks players will take the ice at CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton on Oct. 24, with puck drop scheduled for 6 p.m.

The home uniform is white with blue shoulders and a white collar, both trimmed in red, according to a news release. The sleeves and sides feature red, blue and gray striping, with the primary Trenton Ironhawks crest on the chest.

An alternate Ironhawks logo, depicting a talon gripping a hockey puck, is stitched onto each shoulder. An ECHL logo appears at the bottom of the back.

The team’s blue away uniforms feature white shoulders and a blue collar, both trimmed in red. The sleeves and sides include red, white and gray striping. The primary crest appears on the chest, with the alternate Ironhawks logo on each shoulder.

Fans will be able to purchase Ironhawks jerseys in person Oct. 2 during the Hockey Ice Breaker and Ironhawks Open House at CURE Insurance Arena, featuring The College of New Jersey and William Paterson University. Jerseys will also be available on the team’s website.

“The excitement continues to build for our inaugural season, and we’re now one step closer with our single-game tickets going on sale Wednesday,” said Bob Ohrablo, president of the Ironhawks. “Demand for season memberships has been incredible, and we expect a similar response for our individual games. We look forward to welcoming hockey fans from across New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York to Trenton to experience the future stars today.”

Athletic Knit, the ECHL’s official jersey supplier, will provide the Ironhawks’ official game jerseys throughout the season.

The team recently announced its first five player signings in franchise history, adding five New Jersey-born players to the roster: 23-year-old Princeton native Luke Antonacci, 25-year-old Middletown native John Gelatt, 28-year-old Towaco native Anthony Firriolo, 29-year-old Turnersville native Mikey Colella and 26-year-old Mahwah native Nick Carabin.

Tickets and additional information are available at trentonironhawks.com.
