A pair of home invasions Friday morning in Bloomfield are believed to be related, according to police.
The first home invasion happened on Grace Street at 3:20 a.m. when three masked men kicked in the back door and confronted the resident of the home, police say. The men allegedly stole jewelry. Police say no one was injured.
The second burglary happened on 16th Street where two of three masked men showed handguns, according to a resident of the home.
"I just woke up and I saw a guy pointing at me," says George Romero, Jr. "He said, 'Be quiet, and don't say anything.' At that moment I didn't know what to do and I saw him taking some of my stuff."
No one was harmed during the second invasion.
