Police: 1 person injured as car becomes wedged under truck in Gloucester Township

Authorities say the car became wedged underneath a truck after attempting to pass it illegally around 2 a.m. on Sicklerville Road.

A crash between a truck and a car left one person hurt early Saturday morning in Gloucester Township, according to police. Authorities say the car became wedged underneath the truck after attempting to pass it illegally around 2 a.m. on Sicklerville Road. A fuel tank filled with diesel then began to leak on the roadway. The driver of the truck and the car were unharmed. However, a passenger in the car sustained several cuts and a broken arm. Police say the crash remains under investigation.
