in Plumsted.
The accident happened Wednesday around 7 p.m. on Route 539.
According to police, four
vehicles were reportedly involved in the fatal crash.
The road was shut down while
police investigated, causing major backups in the area.
The area is considered
high-risk for a number of dangerous accidents in the past.
