STORM WATCH: Tracking thunderstorms and possible stray tornado in New Jersey

NEW & NOW: Strong to severe storms will be strong in the morning and afternoon - night. Significant rain total amounts for southern counties possible especially across southern counties, power outages very likely, loud rumbles during afternoon - night throughout the entire state. Flash flood risk is low yet widespread throughout the entire state. Damaging winds and possible tornadoes are a significant threat to storms this evening. Also, Tropical Storm Beryl is officially a hurricane. No impact to us.
NEXT: Monday back to warm and dry. Thursday, 4th of July features a hotter, hazier day in the 90s. Next rain chance towards the end of the week.
TODAY & TONIGHT: Limited sunshine in the morning then afternoon - night strong, gusty thunderstorms. A stray tornado is possible and damaging straight-line winds after 1 p.m. Highs stay mild, near 92. Overnight lows near 71.
MONDAY: Sunny and comfortable. Highs near 84. Overnight lows near 67.
TUESDAY: Becoming hotter, hazy, humid. Highs near 87. Overnight lows near 73.
WEDNESDAY: Still sunny with some clouds. Highs near 89. Overnight lows 73.
