New Jersey teenagers in foster care are hoping that having their portraits taken and displayed will get them permanent homes.
A photo shoot at the Paterson Museum is trying to give the kids that chance. Heart Gallery is a non-profit organization that put together the photo shoot.
Erica Berger, who is with the organization, said the aim of the project is to bring the kids? faces to the public. Organizers say the ultimate goal is adoption, but some of the teens say they?d be happy just meeting new friends.
Professional photographers donated their time and skills. Heart Gallery will display the photos at different venues throughout New Jersey, and on its Web site.
