Phillies fans across the Garden State are celebrating the team's win in the National League Championship Series.Fans were waiting for the Modell's store in Hamilton to open up at 6 a.m. Thursday to pick up merchandise for the team. The store's manager says the store was ready to go since it knew fans would be racing out for t-shirts, hats and other items.The federal government reported retail sales are down, but the store was reporting strong sales due to the big win. Several customers spent close to $200 on Phillies gear, according to store employees.The win marks the first time the Phillies have reached the World Series since 1993.
