The PGA’s Presidents Cup will begin Thursday in Jersey City.

The event will feature some big names in professional golf, including Phil Mickelson and Jordan Spieth. It’s the United States vs. the international team.

The golfers do not compete for any prize money in this event. The PGA instead donates money to charity.

“This event is growing in stature, and it’s growing in popularity and it’s also growing in esteem for the players,” says international team captain Nick Price.

There are 12 golfers on each team. Practice was held Tuesday.
