A New Jersey town is dealing with increased levels of lead in their drinking water.
Pequannock recorded levels of lead above the federal standard. Out of 60 homes tested, nine homes had elevated levels.
Town leaders say they blame the treatment process at the Pequannock Water Treatment Plant for pumping corrosive water through old lead pipes.
Homeowners have been notified.
