Today marks the 70th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
One of the survivors of the attack was recognized in a special ceremony at the Park Ridge Elk's Lodge.
New Jersey native Tom Mahoney was just 19 when the Japanese bombed the naval base in Hawaii. After Pearl Harbor, Mahoney re-enlisted and became a decorated war hero.
