Well, we've got a couple of kittens in today from Brick City Kitties. We're joined right now by Barbara and Judy from the rescue. First off, I love the name Brick City Kitties. I was telling you that. Secondly, look at the little kittens that you have here today. Tell me their back story. So this is Bonnie and that's Taylan and they're uh two of a five kitten litter and their mom pearl was found at, with them at a truck stop in Newark. And how long ago was that about? They were a couple of days old, I think so, 2.5 months ago. And so you, you have been taking care of them ever since because they weren't ready to be adopted, right? They needed to see the vet they went to foster care. One of our amazing fosters has been taking care of them and they have to nurse with their mom. So they've been wean since then. And so um I know they are just about up for adoption. Tell me a little bit about that process. So, so our adoption process is you have to fill out an application which is on our website, um, w w W Brook City kitties rescue dot org. Um, and we also have adoption events. We have one upcoming on June 11th at the Melbourne Pet Smart from 1 to 4 PM. Um, it's best to fill out an application beforehand. These two will be there as will their siblings, um, and some other kitties, uh, a lot of kittens will be there and, and some of our cats that sit at Petsmart and if you fill out an application, we vet it and if you get preapproved, you could take the cat and right then, so it's better to fill it out first. So quickly tell me, who are you looking for when it comes to families? For these, these kittens. So for these kittens, we would be looking for, they, they're actually the, that they're at, they have dogs, they have Children so they would fit into any family. But you would want to, they're just like small Children. You wanna make sure you don't have wires around or glasses sitting around that can get knocked over because they want to play 24 7. And so, um, we were talking about this before. It'd be great if some of them could be adopted together, but that's not, that's not necessary. Right. Well, we do, uh, promote adopting out in pairs, but if you have another kitten at home, we will, we, we will also pair with that kitten. It's very good to keep kittens together because they can get single kittens, single cat syndrome and they tend to bite and, and cry a lot because they're, they're by themselves. They need, they need a buddy. All right, we're gonna have more information on our website at news dot com. I have to tell you guys. Usually we have dogs that come in when we have kittens. You never know what to expect. They're ready to play. They're ready to crawl on your back. It is the funniest thing here.
