Some dogs and cats that are looking for their fur-ever homes have arrived in New Jersey.

St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center brought the animals to the Garden State to make room in shelters in Vermont that were impacted by severe flooding.

St. Hubert’s partners with animal programs across the country. The partners in Vermont are located near the rivers that flooded. Animals that were already in the shelters that were up for adoption were brought to New Jersey to make room in the shelters for any new animals displaced in Vermont.

Diane Ashton and Lynn Garcia, from St. Hubert’s, say there are plenty of kittens, adult cats and dogs that are now up for adoption in New Jersey.

Anyone interested in adopting pets can find out more information on the St. Hubert’s website.
