Hiro is a sweet, loving 4-year-old mixed breed who is eager to find his furever home for the holidays.
Now a resident of Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption, this playful pup is shy at first but fiercely loyal to his human companions.
"Hiro is a tender soul with a touch of insecurity, but his love for his trusted humans runs deep. Once he forms a bond, he’ll be your most loyal and affectionate companion, always ready for cuddles and quiet moments together," according to his bio on the Best Friend website.
Hiro is described by volunteers as being sensitive and calm. He can be a couch potato but also loves playtime, going for walks and cuddling. Volunteers say he's very "low maintenance." He has knowledge of basic commands and is very treat-motivated.
Hiro would thrive in a quiet home. He does well around other dogs as well as kids, although the best fit would be a family with older kids if possible.
