Students at all 52 Paterson schools are back in the classroom Monday.The schools were shut Friday due to safety concerns. Fire inspectors said they found serious violations in more than two dozen buildings in the school district. The violations ranged from elevators that stalled to missing smoke detectors.Crews worked throughout the weekend to fix the violations at the schools. A spokeswoman for the district said "all systems are ready to run."Paterson is one of three New Jersey school districts under state supervision.Related Information:
