A group of Paterson homeowners complain that abandoned home construction sites are attracting crime instead of potential buyers.
Neighbors say two unfinished homes on E. 18th Street are eyesores and magnets for drug use. They say human waste, needles and broken glass litter the area. Parents worry that their children will be affected by the activities going on in the houses. They also want to know why the homes are not completed yet.
Developers did not return News 12 New Jersey?s calls for comment, but residents say they have been told work will soon resume on the homes.
