Frustrated parents in Paterson have taken their concerns to the Internet.
A home video made by the Paterson Education Fund showing conditions at some of Paterson's most run-down schools has been made available for download. In the video, the parents tour buildings lacking cafeterias, auditoriums and appropriate restroom facilities.
"Enough is enough," says Abraham Aguayo, father of a third-grader at School 16. "We want a better situation for these kids. I mean, we had a better education when we were growing up and it should be the opposite."
Students and parents at School 16 have started a letter writing campaign to Gov. Corzine in an effort to gain his support to make changes.
