Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh has called for a ceasefire in Gaza in an attempt for President Joe Biden to help end the Israel-Hamas war.
"He can have a defining moment in his presidency, he can lead the way, he can have a Nobel Peace Prize winning moment for himself and get all world leaders in the room and say that we must end the cycle of violence once and for all," Sayegh said.
Faith and community leaders joined Sayegh in the city as they represent one of the largest Palestinian populations in the U.S.
