Ten families are homeless after a two-alarm fire in Paterson on Easter Sunday.Firefighters say the blaze started around 8 a.m. in a first-floor apartment. They say the blaze was caused by a grease fire. The fire department says it took 48 men close to an hour to extinguish the flames. The woman who lived in the apartment where the fire started was taken to the hospital with burns to her hands.Officials say the last thing someone should do with a grease fire is throw water on it. Firefighters say it needs to be suffocated by putting a lid on the pot or throwing flour on it. They say if those methods don't work, you should leave the building and immediately call the fire department. The American Red Cross has stepped in to help those displaced by the fire.
