Paramus community thanks first responders with breakfast

The Paramus community, including some who were injured following a devastating school bus crash involving students, are coming together to say thank you to all the first responders.
Before the town’s annual Fourth of July parade, the Boy Scouts cooked, prepared, and handed out nearly 200 breakfast sandwiches this morning to all the first responders in the region.
Since the crash, the rallying cry in the community has been #Paramusstrong.
Scout leaders say there is no better example than this morning with some of those who were affected.
Bill Lampey is a scout dad and his son was on the bus that crashed.
“I think it has a lot more meaning,” says Lampey. “We are going to be real happy to see all the kids marching. It's going to mean a lot to everybody"
The school bus carrying 38 middle schoolers from Paramus collided head-on with a dump truck on Interstate 80 in Mount Olive back on May 17, killing a 10-year-old girl and a teacher.
Many people say they will march in this morning's parade with heavy hearts.
They say their community is stronger than ever.
