Camden County prosecutors say a man from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was arrested and charged for crashing a U-Haul van into several police vehicles while attempting to flee from a bank robbery in Pennsauken - leaving two officers injured.
Police say they were called to the TD Bank on Route 130 on Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. They say Kevin Allure, 34, passed a threatening note to bank employees and demanded money.
Shortly after, police say they located Allure and tried to stop him. Officials say he smashed the U-Haul into three police cars before he jumped out and ran off on foot before being arrested. Two officers were injured during the crash.
Allure is now facing multiple charges, including robbery, resisting arrest and assault by auto. He is being held at the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a pretrial detention hearing.
