(AP) - An Orange woman has admitted to running a northern New Jersey human trafficking ring along with her husband, stepson and two others that forced teenage girls into becoming sex workers.

32-year-old Ernestine Bowman cut a deal with Bergen County prosecutors and agreed to plead guilty Wednesday to various charges tied to the prostitution ring.

Bowman is the third defendant to plead guilty in the case. She is expected to be sentenced to serve 10 years behind bars.

Prosecutors say the group advertised its prostitutes on Backpage.com, with Bowman bringing the girls to meet clients at motels in South Hackensack, Clifton and other northern municipalities.

The ring was brought down by an undercover operation launched by the South Hackensack Police Department in October 2014.
The Associated Press wire services helped contribute to this report.
