A person was struck by an Amtrak train near New Brunswick station Tuesday afternoon, according to the railroad.
Amtrak said Train 98 was traveling from Miami to New York around 2:30 p.m. when a person who was trespassing on the tracks came into contact with the train.
No injuries were reported among the 136 passengers or crew members aboard, Amtrak said.
The condition of the person struck was not immediately disclosed.
Amtrak said it is working with local law enforcement to investigate the incident.
