President Trump has issued an executive order targeting offshore wind, temporarily stopping offshore wind lease sales in federal waters.

The order also pauses approvals for permits and loans until a review of the environmental impact, costs, and effect on offshore drilling is completed.

The extent of the impact on projects off the Jersey Shore is still unclear.
