Officials have confirmed a woman was struck and killed by a Camden County police cruiser in Camden.

The incident happened Wednesday around 10:10 p.m. at the intersection of East State Street and Harrison Avenue.

No details have been released about the accident, or whether the car's lights and sirens were on when the woman was hit.

The woman has not been identified, nor has the identity of the officer.
