A sailor from New Jersey has died during a yacht race in the Atlantic Ocean, according to officials.

A sailor from New Jersey has died during a yacht race in the Atlantic Ocean, according to officials.
Officials for the 52nd Newport To Bermuda Race confirmed New Providence native Colin Golder went overboard from the yacht. Golder was the captain of Morgan of Marietta, a 42-foot sloop.
His crew said it happened Sunday while they were dealing with strong winds about 325 miles from Bermuda. 
His body was later recovered by the vessel's crew.
