Officials: Person struck by NJ Transit train in Harrison

Officials say the Morris and Essex Line train departed from New York at 12:34 a.m. and began heading toward Dover.

A person struck by a train Sunday morning in Harrison has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, according to NJ Transit.
Officials say the Morris and Essex Line train departed from New York at 12:34 a.m. and began heading toward Dover.
The pedestrian was hit at around 1 a.m. just before the Newark Broad Street station.
Over 600 customers and crew were on board the train, according to officials. However, no one was hurt.
Transit police are investigating the incident.
