Officials say they could not find the fire reported on an Air Transat flight that made an emergency landing at Newark Liberty International Airport Saturday morning.
They say they're still searching for the source of smoke.
There were two minor injuries reported when Flight 942 made the emergency landing after leaving Montreal for Fort Lauderdale.
A possible fire or smoke was reported in the cargo hold. Passengers were evacuated by emergency slides on the runway at Newark, and all flights were grounded for about an hour.
Hundreds of delays were reported throughout the airport for the rest of the day Saturday.
Another crew and plane traveled to Newark to take the passengers to Florida.
