As more areas in New Jersey begin seeing drier conditions, the chances for wildfires and ground fires increase.
In Burlington County, firefighters are slowly gaining the upper-hand of a forest fire in Southampton Township.
At last check, the fire was about 60% contained.
The New Jersey Forest Fire Service didn't expect it to grow any more. Local departments were working to protect houses and buildings.
There is no word on injuries or the cause.
