Drivers in New Jersey can now change their gender designation on their driver’s licenses without a doctor's note, according to the state's Motor Vehicle Commission.
The NJMVC says drivers just have to fill out a form and pay an $11 fee. The form no longer requires the signature of a health care practitioner.
The "Declaration of Gender Designation Change for New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Driver License or Non-Driver Identification Card" form can be found
online, or at MVC offices.
