Officials: Arrest made in deadly hit-and-run crash in Paterson
Shakim Adams, 21, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

A 21-year-old Paterson man has been charged in a deadly hit-and-run crash.
The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office says Shakim Adman struck 59-year-old Abel Herrera near the intersection of Alabama and Trenton avenues. It happened around 9 a.m. on Feb. 3.
Officials say Herrera was clearing snow off of his vehicle at the time of the incident. Officials say Adams drove away after striking Herrera.
Adams was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. He could face five to 10 years in prison if he is convicted of the charges.
