A 12-year-old child is expected to be OK after being shot in the ankle in Jersey City.
Jersey City spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace Scalcione says that the shooting happened Tuesday evening near MLK Drive and Oak Street. She says that at least two guns were recovered from the scene.
Three men have been arrested and are facing charges relating to the shooting.
This is the second shooting involving a juvenile victim in Jersey City within a week. A 17-year-old girl died on Tuesday after she was shot Monday night.
