An off-duty police detective who fatally struck a pedestrian with his SUV in Long Branch has been charged with drunken driving.
Jake Pascucci allegedly hit Stanhope resident Karen Borkowski while she was trying to cross Ocean Boulevard at Broadway.
There is no word on any changes of Pascucci's employment status with the department.
