An Ocean County sheriff's officer has been injured following a car crash.
It happened Saturday around 10 p.m. on Route 37 in Toms River.
According to the Sheriff's Department, the unidentified officer was driving in his marked car when the incident occurred.
The Sheriff's Department says the sheriff's officer swerved to avoid another car and hit a concrete barrier.
The officer was treated at the hospital and released.
No one else was injured or involved in the crash.
