Fighter jets were scrambled over New Jersey after two private aircraft entered restricted airspace near President Donald Trump's golf club in Bedminster.

NORAD says the incidents happened Sunday while Trump was spending the weekend in New Jersey.

Officials say two private planes violated temporary flight restrictions in the area surrounding the president.

F-16 fighter jets were dispatched to intercept the aircraft and safely escort them out of the restricted airspace.

No injuries or damage were reported.

NORAD is reminding pilots to check for temporary flight restrictions before flying, especially when the president is visiting New Jersey.
