More than 300 rabbits, several guinea pigs and a calf were found inside a Hunterdon County home.
NJSPCA offices were tipped off by a call to their animal cruelty hotline.
SPCA officers arrived at a home on Blackbrook Road in Hampton Borough and found about 300 rabbits inside cases that were full of feces.
Guinea pigs were also found inside the home and officials found a calf in the basement.
All of the animals were turned over to the NJSPCA. There was no word on whether the owners would face charges.
