Students from all over the state helped spread the word on the dangers of cigarette use Wednesday on ?Kick Butts Day.?
The students are members of the anti-smoking group, Rebel. At Hillside High School, the group set up a coffin to give students and teachers who smoke an idea of where they could wind up much sooner than they should if they don?t quit. The coffin was filled with graphic pictures of what can happen to smokers, as well as information that may help someone quit.
At Mount Saint Dominic Academy in Caldwell, the group shared alarming information on smoking with other students. In Verona, students at the HB Whitehorne Middle School held a meeting that included a question and answer session on the dangers of smoking.
