New Jersey's Jacqueline Dubrovich helps Team USA win Olympics gold medal in women's fencing

Team USA held on for a 45-39 win over Italy in the gold-medal bout.

New Jersey native Jacqueline Dubrovich helped Team USA win its first-ever gold medal for team fencing at the Paris Olympics on Thursday.
Dubrovich, a 30-year-old Riverdale native who now calls Maplewood home, attended Pompton Lakes High School.
The team of two-time individual gold medalist Lee Kiefer, silver medalist Lauren Scruggs, Maia Weintraub and Dubrovich held on for a 45-39 win over Italy in the gold-medal bout. Kiefer has become the first American fencer to win three Olympic gold medals.
The U.S. now has four fencing medals at the Paris Olympics and two gold medals in fencing at the same Olympics for the first time, as well as a first-ever team gold for the U.S.
