NJ Muslims observe holy day with song, prayer

Muslim residents throughout the state celebrated Ed Milad Nabi Sunday, one of the most important dates on the Islamic calendar.
Ed Milad Nabi is celebrated as the birthday of the Muslim prophet Muhammad. Nearly 1.3 billion celebrants observed the holy day worldwide.
Families gathered for feasts, prayers and street celebrations with singing and floats. Many Muslim residents say they are still the victims of racism in the country, but maintain it's important to understand Ed Milad Nabi is a peaceful celebration.
"Not all Muslims are terrorists," says 15-year-old Arsilan Chaudhry.
