A Pleasantville man pleaded guilty Tuesday to first-degree murder in the 2024 death of his pregnant domestic partner, Atlantic County prosecutors said.

Boris Lainez-Rosales, 28, admitted in court that he assaulted 25-year-old Leslianette Quintana-Betancourt with a baseball bat at his Pleasantville home on Dec. 2, 2024, causing her death, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Under the plea agreement, prosecutors will recommend a 30-year sentence in New Jersey State Prison without the possibility of parole.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 31.
